PROJECT MANAGER – CONTROL
Profile Seeking
The desired profile is an engineering programmer, project manager with experience in the conception, execution and programming of projects in food factory engineering in the field of processes (heat exchangers, CIP, sanitary pumps, control valves, etc.), utilities (compressors, chillers, water towers, kettle, etc.) and packaging (conveyors, bottling machine, labeller, lalletizers, packer, stretch wrapper, machine safety, line flow audit, etc.).
Mandate
The engineering project manager will work in a team alongside other engineers and designers to complete mandates in packaging, energy and in the building sector. They may be called to globally manage projects and execute them (conception, PCL programming, HMI and begin operation).
MISSION
- Meet clients and providers to validate needs;
- Participate in the elaboration of concepts and advise clients;
- Make construction site surveys required for layout diagrams;
- Select instruments, equipment and providers;
- Design power distribution systems, Arc Flash studies, control cabinet design, control network, selection of PLC equipment/HMI, PLC programming/HMI and SCADA systems, panel and cabinet design;
- Validate data and check plans;
- Assist construction sites and commissioning;
- Supervise consultants and other professionals to detail projects.

EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor in electrical engineering or other relevant work experience;
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec;
- 3 to 10 years of experience in the industrial field and/or engineering consulting;
- Experience in plant project management;
- A good mastery of various information technology tools (MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.);
- Available to travel across North America;
- Knowledge of the food industry, packaging and HACCP and ISO standards is an asset;
- Bilingualism is a must.
